The subjects that inspire me most are ones that evoke a certain betweeness. It is this otherness that anchors them in liminalty. Stuck in an incomprehensible scale. Lost somewhere between the dualities we create in our lives. These pieces too, are stuck. Between abstraction and realism, between confident and timid marks. Between space and microscopy. We all reside in this same place. Modernity is permanent liminality.

In an inescapable way, the work is about myself. About my own difficulties seeking meaningful connections in a world of perpetual connectivity.
